The Durham Islamic Soccer League celebrated its inaugural season in 2015 starting with just 90 players, 6 coaches and 9 sponsors. The league has since grown to accommodate more than 340 players, 50 coaches and 30 sponsors.

 

The league started off with one field at Ummah Foundation of Durham and now heading into our 7th season operate on 2 public parks; Fallingbrook Park as well as Jack Wilson Park in the Town of Whitby.

 

The DISL was originally constructed with just 3 divisions and has now grown to 7 divisions encompassing both boys and girls soccer. The league schedule now contains over 60 total competitive games with a Championship Day & Carnival to close out the season.
